Rigadoon Glass Studio Workshops Available
With hopes of keeping the arts alive and well Amy is providing workshops in jewelry assembly, glass bead making and enameling. She wants to inspire artists to advance in the arts. Those under 18 years old need a legal guardian. Please see the three workshops list below.
All classes can be arranged on any day or evening of the week. A down payment of $75.00 is required 3 weeks before any of the workshops. Then the rest is to be paid at the time of the workshop for each registered guest. Check or Paypal are accepted. Please see the three workshops list below.
Please note all students / participants under 18 will need a guardian present at the workshops.
Jewelry Assembly Workshop Description–
Amy teaches a bead stringing workshop for bracelets, and or earrings for one student or parties. Also great as corporations parties and gifts. At this workshop students will learn to assemble a Toggle Bracelet, Suncatchers or Dangle Earrings. This workshop can be held at Amy’s studio for a single student or your home or party rooms for groups. Amy will provide the colorful Handmade Glass Beads that she creates and other assorted glass beads. Along with stringing materials, toggles and other assorted pieces for you to choose from. Also provided for you to use are tools, and instruction. You will have a beautiful finished piece of jewelry and information print-outs for you to use later. The price of $60.00 each Bracelet and $48.00 for each set of earrings covers the materials, printed information, Sales tax is added. There’s an extra workshop fee of $75.00 for each groups. This workshop fee covers for the use of tools, Amy getting there, and teaching the class. An extra $2.00 per mile charge may be added if Amy has to travel more than 30 miles in one direction. There are other types of workshops for learning how to create necklaces. Register at least 3 weeks before the workshop. This is so she can make and order more supplies if needed. 10 years or older please accompany an adult. Each workshop needs at least about 3 hours for students to create their jewelry.
Amy teaching a Jewelry Assembly Workshop
Glass Bead Making Workshop Description-
Amy teaches two kinds of Glass Bead Making in her studio.
The first class consists of four hours of instruction and is for beginners. In this class Amy will teach about the tools and supplies. Also on how to make a variety of bead shapes.
The second class is more advanced – teaching more about shapes, color and design. A variety of decorations and techniques are also taught. This is also consists of four hours of instruction.
Each class is $100.00 for the three hours. Additional hours can be added for $25.00 for each hour of the class.
Please register at least 2 weeks before the workshop. 18 years or older is recommended.
Amy teaching a Bead Making Workshop
Copper Enameling Workshop Description-
Amy teaches the basics of glass enameling in a four hour class. You get to enamel a copper bowl with about seven different colors. This also covers information on the tools and supplies. This four hour class is $150.00 with $30.00 for each additional hour. Register at least 2 weeks before the workshop. 18 years or older is recommended.
