Rigadoon Glass Studio provides unique handmade glass lampwork beads, enamel art pieces, hand drawn designs and wearable creations that are not only unique but often come with an amazing origin story from one of Amy Jean Nichols adventures through this wonderful “windblown” world.
Rigadoon Glass is handmade, every single glass piece is touched by the artist and crafted with love and adventure in her heart. From Glass Beads of every size and shape to Marbles and handmade Jewelry, you can find something spectacular here!
Enamel is hand shaped copper, adorned with astonishing images made from glass enamel powder and fired at 1400*. Melting the two parts together to create an image takes a gift, a miracle and an amazing talent. Amy would like to invite you in to take a look at our enamels inspired by natures beauty.
As an artist Amy has traveled across the United States, she does so by 3 wheels! Having gone through 49 states, Canada and well over 200,000 miles on her own, Amy has some amazing adventure stories. Not only that, her artistry doesn't stop at glass - she has amazing hand drawn motorcycle art that has been seen on stamps and in the BMW Museum!
Amy's art is pen and ink with highlights. Her custom MotoDrawings are matted and many become custom MotoCards. Her custom art has been in the BMW Museum, requested to be used as stamps and commemorate many events in the motor world!
Not only is the Color a Story Book – “My Adventures with Rigadoon” now available, the BMW Motorcycle Owners of America website has listed the coloring book and moto cards as one of the top 10 last minute holiday gifts for motorcycle enthusiasts (listed at number 7 if you are looking).
Find the details and information listed under the MotoDrawings section in the website, order a coloring book and have some fun!
Check out the MotoDrawings and MotoCards section for some gorgeous artwork of your favorite motor based creations – cars, motorocycles and even airplanes have captured the imagination for years, see how Amy’s drawings bring them to life.
